| previous | Sebastien stares at a possible gap. Gaining access to rooftops in major English cities took weeks of phone calls, negotiations and preparation. In Derry, once the initial arrangements had been made by Dominic a few days previously, all I had to do was phone the council, tell them which building I was interested in and within 2 hours I was standing on the roof. During the first reccy, myself and Bane had spent some time figuring out if this jump was possible. Sebastien also spent a good two hours staring at it while Clem, Dominic and Nial tried to figure out how it could be made safe. In the end, time was against us and the walls of the city themselves already offered the team a huge range of possibilities. The gap between the Richmond Shopping Centre and the Millennium Forum in Derry was never attempted. |
