Blue swinging into action.

Whilst chatting to Hannah, the assistant editor, I discovered that one of the stories that had to be dropped from the France sequence was the transformation in Blue’s attitude towards parkour. With Sebastien’s subtle guidance and encouragement, there was the gradual realisation of his ability and potential. In Blue's own words:

"While in France training with Seb, I remember trying a precision onto a bollard from a lower bollard. This gap was massive, and after a few attempts I just couldn't do it. Then Seb began to tell me how he knew for a fact that I could do it. He said that he could see that I was better than I knew I was, and that if he could do it, I could do it, and some other stuff like that, I don't really remember. But something kinda happened to me, like I got a weird energy boost or something, and after I heard his words I tried the precision again with success. I knew for sure that I couldn't do the distance, but somehow he knew me better than I knew myself. He knew that I was better than I thought, I just had to realise that. From that point onwards I was a changed person. I came back to England stronger, faster, and more determined than ever. I killed shit that I didn't know I could do before. Now I move and think with more confidence, and am a better freerunner because of it."
