The Independent Shoot - part I
Tuesday August 19th, 2003 saw the UF Krew hook up with journalist Mark MacKenzie and photographer Tom Pilston. The article appeared on page 11 of the sports supplement in the Independent On Sunday the following week and the write-up captured the essence of Urban Freeflow perfectly.
Sticky headed to Birmingham from Nottingham and we jumped in the car, picking up Blue and then blowing a tyre on the M40 at 85mph. This put us a couple of hours behind but we managed to make up some time and catch up with the rest of the Krew as they were heading out to South Bank.
